Eyad Alabbasi is a digital banking specialist with over 25 years of experience leading transformation across the financial sector. As Head of Digitalization & Card Center at Al Baraka Islamic Bank, he played a key role in launching major digital channels—including online banking (2013) and mobile banking (2021)—and was instrumental in introducing successful retail products such as the AlBarakat raffle account. He also established and managed the bank’s Card Center, driving product development, operational efficiency, and award-winning card initiatives.  Earlier in his career at Bahrain Islamic Bank, Eyad contributed to core banking migration, digital channel workflow design, UAT testing, and branch operations. Today, he supports consulting teams with deep practical expertise in digital transformation, customer experience, and alternative delivery channels.
